A continuing look at the Blake family in Calne

 The set of records that I was beginning to discuss on the Blake family in Calne and elsewhere have proven to be rather interesting. They run from 1302 to 1472.

32. A William le Blake is mentioned only one time in 1302 (he was murdered whilst on the King's business but the petition for oyer and terminer was created at Hungerford which is itself rather interesting.
 
A Robert le Blake (in the Quemerford, Calne area) is mentioned four times with a Robert Blake mentioned twice in this same time period 1334-1363 and area of Calne.
