If correct the testator was only 24 years of age when he died. This couple may have baptized a daughter Sarah Town Blake 13 May 1752 (born 6 May) at St Katherine Coleman and another daughter Mary 6 Apr 1755 also at Saint Olave Hart Street. Could not find a marriage for Martin Blake and Elizabeth (unknown).

1 In the Name of God Amen
2 I Martin Thomlinson Blake of Dowry Square in the Parish
3 of Clifton and County of Gloucestershire Gent being of
4 full age perfect Mind and understanding but considering
5 the uncertainty of this transitory life Do make publish
6 and declare this m y last Will and Testament in manner
7 and form following that is to say I desire that all
8 my just Debts be paid so soon after my decease as
9 conveniently may be together with my Funeral which
10 I also desire may be decent but not extravagant
11 And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint
12 Nanasseh Dawes of Chapel Street Grosvenor Square
