What was it about the jobs that were given to the residents of Gaza to work in Israel that Hamas wanted to stop. It would have helped to bring better relations between the two countries but Hamas wants only to destroy Israel like Iran (a Terrorist County) does. Now they threaten to kill the hostages that they took in their raid on Israel. They are barbarians; they are terrorists. But people of Gaza it is you that is suffering from Hamas' wanton destruction of a free country that has left over a thousand Israelis dead.
Carrying the Palestinian flag in the streets of Canada and to be honest I do not really support the idea of carrying foreign flags in a country unless it is a special occasion and certainly the murder of more than a 1000 people is not a celebration. I love the flag of the UK too (all of my ancestors are from the British Isles except for my small Canadian line - my mother, her father and his mother) but it is not the flag of my country Canada and so I do not fly it or carry it unless of course the King is coming. That is different. To support and celebrate Hamas which constantly is undermining the possibility of the Palestinian people having a better life is just wrong - they are terrorists; they carry only hate in their methodology. But there is also jealousy; the Jews are in the Bible; their history goes back thousands and thousands of years on the land where they live. So please do think about your parades up and down the streets of Canada; you are supporting terrorists if you carry signs in support of the butchery that Hamas has wrought on the Jewish people and people from all over the world it does appear have died or are in captivity by Hamas' hand. Think of the damage that Hamas has done to the Palestinians with this attack on Israel and the hostages that they continue to hold. The treatment of them is governed by the Geneva Convention - they better be properly housed and cared for, well fed and have good medical care. If not it is a war crime and the World Court will punish you. If they die you should also die.
I haven't forgotten Ukraine though. Distraction continues on the part of Russia. Glory to Ukraine. May her lands be returned to her soon.
Prayers for Afghanistan that their recovery efforts will be successful after the earthquake that has already taken two thousand lives.
The day is early but the sun will soon rise. Another day of cleaning and then back to the Siderfin Book.
