I had no idea that my sight was that affected by my cataracts to be honest. Had I realized I never would have published the book before surgery. I just thought I needed to get it done and really had no idea that my eye sight was not as good as I thought it was. But when the first eye was operated on (my weak eye actually) all of sudden to my shock my living room ceiling was pure white with the operated eye once it cleared. But if I covered that eye my other eye saw just yellow and it was not sharp at all like the other eye which was my weaker eye. The weaker eye still is weaker but it never ceases to amaze me just how much it improved by the cataract surgery. I would not say the stronger eye is that different except I can read signs without my glasses because my strabismus appears to be gone.
But back to the book. As I work my way through the companion charting book I am finding all sorts of little things in the already published book. I will republish it at the same time as this Companion Book is published. They belong together and if the one book wasn't already 412 pages I would put them together but it is really nicer to have the two books side by side and I have put in the reference page number to go back to the earlier book as you work through the charts.
Still waiting for comments on the original book because I am making a few assertions that create a slightly different descent than James Sanders had. Indeed James simply skipped over the descent and just started a new line although at first glance it looks like he is fitting them together but in actual fact he does not. Plus I disagreed with the middle section coming down from Robert 3 (William 2, John 1) to his sons William 4 and Robert 4. Indeed none of Robert 4's children appear on the chart and the one that does appear as a son of Robert 4 belongs to William 4. But no disagreements at all; I did expect a few comments questioning what I wrote but I did have documents to back it up every time so perhaps that is why.
Working away on the book yesterday and will continue through the week. Not sure when I will finish it because I will republish the earlier one as well so it could be on into November before they see the light of day in publication. It is giving me lots of thinking time when I am not working on Siderfin for the Blake and Pincombe families. Plus I do have latin material that I need to work through for both of these books and it is not yet in the earlier parts of the book mostly because I do not at this time know what they say and whether they pertain to what is written in the book or are just miscellaneous material that could be interesting. Once I get into the generations I do have lots of wills to put in to verify my movement forward through the generations.
Beautiful views of the moon this month and we are now into the ever dwindling slipper moon as it slowly works it way to the new moon and then back again. Should get the big telescope out but probably not happening. Although the tree cover is disappearing and the early mornings have been really beautiful.
The day begins. Breakfast awaits. Cleaning day two and then back to the working week.
