A busy fun day on Saturday was much enjoyed by me. Except for this chair I bought my grandson that did not open properly in terms of becoming a much larger chair sort of an explosion on a small scale and very quiet. Unfortunately I bought it two months ago as it said there was only two of that colour in stock and the closing date for return to Amazon has now passed. Sad of course but we ordered another one in a different colour as my grandson really loved that chair. I had already bought one in June for another grandchild and it worked perfectly so a bit of a disappointment for sure but he rallied and we went out for dinner. The new chair will arrive later next week and we will open it immediately. A lesson learned I guess. Chemically speaking it must have had some sort of a leak (or was not adequately primed before sealing) that minimized the explosive power of the package as it did "grow" a little. But the other chair I bought is so lovely so a bit of a sad time on a birthday.
A very fast paced and delightful walk to the park with the dogs and all of us was equally enjoyed. I do love the fresh air; I keep forgetting that I do as I work away on the books. I must schedule a walk at least every few days not on a fixed schedule but rather eye strain should trigger the schedule of a walk instead of watching the television every time. I shall try to keep away from politics for the next while including war. I am old and have my opinion but probably no one listens. As far as funding for the military goes though that is essential and should come before anything else really; our military is our strength both at home and abroad where needed. Just like locks are made to keep us all good neighbours so does a strong military keep people honest and defeat the satanism that dominates our world in these wars at the moment - Russia, North Korea, Iran and their sycophants Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis and various "Jihadist" groups.
God bless the world and help it to prosper.
Breakfast finished, tea to drink and latin begins. My fingers are itching to get at this fresh crisp picture of the document on the Pyncombe family. Perhaps today I will find a few minutes to work on it but primarily it is Sunday and will attend Church soon on You-Tube. This is the second Sunday before Advent begins but the location was not revealed easily on the website. Will attend soon.
