Good accomplishment on Siderfin Charting Book

Up to Page 53 now so just over 1/3 of the book. It is slow going but hopefully no errors missed. I of course am always happy to hear if anyone disagrees. This isn't for me this is for the future researcher finding James Sanders book and then my book and then produce his/her own book. Family research is a continuing process as one finds more and more documents that provide an insight into the life of our ancestors. We are at a lucky stage with companies such as My Heritage, Ancestry, Find My Past providing huge databases of information along with the repositories of the National Archives of the various countries that I am interested in (primarily The United Kingdom and Canada) as my ancestors mostly lived in England with my little Canadian line which does stretch back into the early 1800s well around 1818 my Routledge family arrived in London Township. They left lots of records and George DeKay did a great job of pulling together that material in his book which I would also like to update and we had talked about it. But that is a future endeavour although I continue to collect information as it comes my way. I have a 7th cousin who has done extensive work on the Routledge family and a great job he has done taking us back into our Highland home in Scotland.

Today work on the Siderfin Book and I actually have this telephone call about a study on brain health which should be interesting. A last call for testers came in yesterday and I thought well maybe I should send in my name and my background as it doesn't take too much time. I had dropped out of the other projects because my reason for being there was to learn more about the drugs my husband was taking to control his sarcoidosis/liver disease. I just sort of landed into it and then continued with it as I was involved in other projects but as they wound down I stepped away although all of the projects were fascinating and the last one resulted in a paper so that was interesting. Coincidentally not long after I sent back details for a phone call my phone actually rang and it said Carleton University which was a surprise and I opened the connection but nothing so hung it up. I rarely answer the phone unless I am expecting a call. I rebooted phone in case it was a spy ware. Must get a new phone with all the bells and whistles. Probably a mis-dial and my voice not recognized. Works for me. Using the phone is not my favourite thing; takes up too much time. Email is better.

Sunrise and it looks gorgeous out there. It is the fall scene which is so stunningly beautiful with the leaves all gone from the trees and one can see the skyline so clearly. A treat after the heavy foliage of the summer blocking the view. Perhaps snow in the next couple of weeks. I do so love the white world when it comes.

Must get my tea; forgot and then breakfast.
