[6] Although this record exists in the original Timberscombe fiche and it does read that Joan Siderfin daughter of Robert and Joan was baptized; I could not locate a marriage in this fiche for a Robert and Joan. This would appear to be the only Robert that would be eligible to be the father but his baptism in 1718 would have had to be a delayed baptism as one would anticipate he might be 18 or more when he married. I have included it but I am in doubt. Author, Elizabeth Kipp

[74] My very first will that I transcribed back in my first days of surname research; downloaded from the website following payment. All wills are now free which is a real gift.

[75] Because John Rew is a resident of Somerset living in Devon at the moment his will has to be probated in London by the PCC – a lucky break as it was this will that set me on the path of discovery which resulted in my Siderfin line, the author, Elizabeth (Blake) Kipp

[92] My first moment of serendipity, I postulated that Elizabeth Pincombe and her son missing from the 1841 census in Molland, Devon could be in Somerset after finding this will. A good deal of reading of the census from the CDs and I located them along with quite a few family members.
