Setting up the research room

We have finally managed to clear the room that we are going to use for the Research Centre. Today we will start moving the items into the room in a rigorous manner so that the research boxes (about 30) are all labeled and a chart made so that we know which box is which because they will be stacked in the closets. We can centralize the old scanners and the computer to make that readily accessible in the room. The only spare item is the Hope Chest of Edward's mother which will go to her eldest grand daughter when that happens but at the moment we will refill it with the items that were in there along with Carbon filter bags until that happens. The three storage chests which Ed stained will hold our family binders of pictures from our very early days until everything became digital in the early 2000s. They will fit along one wall of that room and then his writing desk right beside the window with the plants and his urn. We are still making a decision on where to bury us. I think it will take a while to make that decision. That will give me a room to work in while I am publishing his remaining research to his blog "Researching my American and Canadian Ancestors."

Today we have a heat warning and it is very cloudy. We finally had rain last evening but need more for sure.
