Chromosome 2 completed and Chromosome 1 in the process

I actually had not planned to work on the last two chromosomes but I had to be at my desk for another reason which gave me free time to work away on the chromosomes so I did do that. Chromosome 2 went smoothly principally because of large matches with known cousins. Chromosome 1 may also run smoothly as there are several large matches and time will determine that.

We have to build the storage shed (heavy plastic) and will do that on the next warm day. But we did move everything that we could out of the garage into the shed. So that is a step forward although somewhat exhausting.

It is pleasant to be back home again.  Someone parked their car across part of the end of our laneway the other day so put a note on their windshield asking them to please note that they were blocking the laneway and would appreciate if they would leave it clear. The properties are very narrow on our street and for a while we had a huge truck parked in front of our house until winter came. I do find it rather inconsiderate of people to do that day after day. The parking is meant to be for everyone not someone who can not be bothered moving their car/truck about in their own laneway. The best remedy is to widen your laneway if you have two vehicles and not constantly inconvenience people by parking a huge vehicle that literally takes up all the space between two laneways making it difficult to back out of your laneway and dangerous as school buses use our street and we need to have a clear view as they happen to stop right across the street from our house.

My beef for the day I guess. It will be nice once the car is in the garage. I am looking forward to that as it will help to protect the car as well from winter and not moving about enough.
