Big Y at FT DNA

My brother's Big Y results at FT DNA arrived and I actually predicted the end value a couple of years ago. But the interesting part is that with all the reported values the age of our paternal line is back another 2000 years to 6900 years. My Blake line was at Upper Clatford, Hampshire, England from the mid 1700s to the present (I still have cousins who live in this area, descendants of our 2x great grandparents John Blake and Ann Farmer and also descendant of our 3x great grandparents Thomas Blake and Sarah Coleman). However, to date none have tested at FT DNA.

Prior to that this Blake line was at Andover from the late 1500s on. Then the line can be traced back to the Blake family at Knights Enham back into the 1400s. BigY is predicting that this is an ancient line in the British Isles. BritainsDNA called this particular group the "Deer Hunters." Fascinating to think that my male line was in the British Isles thousands of years ago.  Living DNA names this group as Hunter Gatherer.
