Will of Rebecca Blake, widow, St Saviour, Southwark, Surrey - The National Archives, PROB 11/677, probated 30 Jun 1736
Rebecca Blake, the testator, and a widow was the grandmother of Malachi Blake the younger whose will was blogged on the 7th of February 2017.
http://kippeeb.blogspot.ca/2017/02/will-of-malachi-blake-younger-second.html
One researcher has proposed that the father of Malachi Blake (identified as the son of this Rebecca Blake in the will below) was also Malachi Blake. This Malachi Blake appears to have married at least twice with a marriage to Mary Godfrey 19 Sep 1720 and a second marriage to Susannah Blunkett 28 Apr 1737 so likely born circa 1690 to 1700. That would mean his father was born circa 1665 to 1675. Rebecca describes herself as aged and infirm in 1733.
No further information can be found on this family. Rebecca does not identify her husband as Malachi Blake.
There was a marriage of Thomas Blake and Rebecca Tanner 12 Sep 1670 at Alderbury, Wiltshire.
There was a marriage for Thomas Blake and Rebecca Stubbs 16 June 1692 in London, England with various locations. This is a Quaker Marriage which took place at the Quarterly Meeting of the London and Middlesex Religious Society of Friends. The father of Thomas was listed as Nathaniel Blake. The name Thomas Hodgson is associated with the Religious Society of Friends in different areas of England.
Rebecca identifies her children as Mary (married to (unknown) Green) and mother of Christopher and Martha; John (father of Rebecca), and Malachi (father of Rebecca and married to Mary). She identifies her sister as Martha King.
A few thoughts on this family in Southwark mostly because their descent from the Malachi Blake family in Blandford, Dorset is unlikely as hinted at by another researcher.

Will of Martin Thomlinson Blake, Gent, Clifton, Gloucestershire - The National Archives PROB 11/1031/235, probated 22 Apr 1777
The testator is Martin Thomlinson Blake. There is a baptism on family search for Martin Thomlinson Blake 24 Nov 1753 at Saint Olave Hart Street, London with parents Martin and Elizabeth Blake. If correct the testator was only 24 years of age when he died. This couple may have baptized a daughter Sarah Town Blake 13 May 1752 (born 6 May) at St Katherine Coleman and another daughter Mary 6 Apr 1755 also at Saint Olave Hart Street. Could not find a marriage for Martin Blake and Elizabeth (unknown).

Will of Elizabeth Blake, Spinster, Preshute, Wiltshire - The National Archives PROB 11/2060/316, probated 3 Mar 1848
Elizabeth Blake is the Testatrix and how she relates to the Maurice and Green families mentioned in her will is not obvious at this point. Elizabeth is on the census at Plough Cottage, Manton Tything, Preshute, Marlborough in 1841, 60 years of age (born in 1781), not born in Wiltshire and living with her Philippina Brewer (age 60 years born in Wiltshire), Hanah Pinnegar (35 years of age and born in Wiltshire), Ellenor Dance (15 years of age and born in Wiltshire), James Annetts (35 years of age and born in Wiltshire). At this time Elizabeth is a mystery.
Fascinating story about the Mr David Pierce Maurice of Marlborough Surgeon in the Daily Mail 28 Aug 2009:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1209663/GP-hangs-stethoscope-bringing-end-dynasty-doctors-dating-1792.html
He was the first of six generations of doctors who had led the town of Marlborough’s medical practice since 1792. The first being Dr Thelwall Blisset Maurice (born in 1767 and joined the practice in 1792. His widow Ann is mentioned in the will below. From Family search it appears that David Pierce Maurice married Marianne Bullock 3 Aug 1829 at Wroughton, Wiltshire. David Pierce Maurice was born 5 March 1802 and baptized 18 Jun 1803 at St Peter and St Paul, Marlborough son of Thelwall and Ann Maurice. Thelwall Maurice and Ann Brewer were married 21 Jul 1794 at Overton, Wiltshire.

Lambden Research Day and Abbots Ann Parish Registers
My Lambden family when I first discovered them about eight years ago in my early years of Genealogy ended up being partially known by me because of Elizabeth Lambden who was my grandfather's great grandmother whom he knew about from his grandmother Anne (Farmer) Blake. Elizabeth Lambden lived to be 96 years of age dying in 1862. A remarkable age at that time and she worked most of those years being a shepherdess the last years of her life (with her son William Farmer).
Elizabeth Lambden married Isaac Farmer 16 Aug 1789 at Woodhouse, Andover. It must have been interesting times as the baptism of their first son, William Farmer, took place on 16 Aug 1789 as well. William was born 16 Jul 1789. He married Hannah Green 31 Jul 1823 at Andover. They had a large family of three daughters and four sons. I have met a number of descendants of this family on Genes Reunited.
Elizabeth's father was Nathanael Lambden and he appears to have been a wheelwright. He signed the marriage registration of his daughter as did Isaac Farmer Elizabeth's husband. Elizabeth made her mark. I already discussed Isaac Farmer and the possibility of him being the son of John Farmer of Collingbourne Kingston.
Because sorting these individuals out is really dependent on transcribing the parish registers for these various places (unless they come online) I am going to once again reserve this research period for transcribing the Abbots Ann Parish Registers and once completed I will go back and finish Andover and Upper Clatford and then move to Goodworth Clatford. In the meantime others are also researching Isaac Farmer and Elizabeth Lambden and I will see how their research transpires since I have given them all the details that I had acquired on this family a few years ago. They live in England and are closer to the "record" houses than I am. Really these families need to have someone who can go to the record offices and spend time going through all the different possible records.
Abbots Ann Parish Registers are moving slowly and I managed to do the burials from 1653 to 1656 yesterday (I do not know if the burials from 1598 to 1652 are extant. That remains to be seen as I work my way through this early register which is difficult to read and not always chronological. I also did the marriages from 1653 to 1656. No new baptisms and they remain at 1636 as the last year entered. This will be a rather large file by the time I reach the mid 1900s with 607 baptisms, 113 marriages and 197 burials thus far and three hundred years to go.

Will of Stephen Blake, of Bentworth, PROB 11/1829/430, probated 19 Sep 1821
Stephen Blake (the testator) married Mary Vicary at Lasham, Hampshire 6 Jan 1766. Stephen was buried at Bentworth Hampshire 30 Apr 1821 and he was 81 years of age (born circa 1740). The Bank of England Wills Extracts (1717-1845) list Stephen Blake as a Taylor of Bentworth Hants. According to the Will Extract No 74783 fo 1095 Sworn under £2000, Stephen Blake of Bentworth Hants, Taylor, died possessed of £1400, 5 per cent Navy 109 1/4 £1529 - 10 - and by his will dated 2nd September 1819 attested by three Witnesses with a Codicil without Date attested by Two Witnesses appointed his Nephew William Blake and James Vickery Executors to whom Probate was granted at Doctors Commons 19th Sep 1821. In the Will are the Following Words: I give and devise the Sum of One Thousand Four hundred Pounds in the Navy five per Cents together with all and every other Interests or Securities for Money I may die possessed of to my Nephews William Blake and James Vickery their Executors and Administrators In trust.
Then 1470 New 3 1/2 25 May 31 N Benton £1400 Navy to be transferred to William Blake (the Testator's nephew) and James Vickery the devisees in trust and executors and left at their disposal S. Hyatt.
Reg[iste]r 3542 20th September 1821 G Hogsslestt Esquire
From Stephen's will we can see that he has a brother William and a nephew William Blake. The nieces will need to be sorted out but some are on his wife's side. James Vickery is his wife's nephew although Stephen calls him his nephew. Stephen Vickery is his godson and son of James Vickery and the other children are not named but I shall check family search to see if I can find them. He calls Mary Green and Sarah Brown his nieces so will check for a Mary Blake and definitely Sarah is Sarah Blake as she is William's daughter. Charles appears to be the son of Jenny Blake. Ann Lloyd is a niece of his wife so she was Ann Cowdry and her mother Elizabeth Vicary. Ann has a daughter Jane Croswell so she was Jane Lloyd and will try to locate these people on Family Search. Then James Vickery, Stephen Green and William Blake are all nephews with Stephen's mother being Mary Green. There is also a Jane Harris who is the daughter of his wife Mary's brother George. All of these details may help to assemble this family.
Bentworth itself is in what I would call southern Hampshire and not far from Preston Candover where I know that some Blake family members lived. Was this Blake family always at Bentworth? Stephen is 81 years old when he is buried so born circa 1740. Again I am not sure if he is in my direct line as there wasn't a Stephen Blake in the 1730 to 1750 time period with grandparent/great grandparent John Blake married to Elizabeth (unknown) in the lines that I know but if he is descended from William the only son about whom I do not have any information then that is a possibility but he does live quite far from Andover relatively speaking. On the other hand the Charles Blake family at Abbots Ann were found at Preston Candover but again he was born in 1740 and I only have one son for Charles Blake and Mary Prince - Charles married to Jane Gilbert. But the register is hard to read and I haven't reached that point yet.
There is a Sarah Blake baptized daughter of William and Mary Blake 10 Aug 1760 at North Waltham (Lasham and Brentworth are eight miles east south east of North Waltham).
