Between the third and fourth lines was a notation "feu Charlotte [B or R]endroyrd. Having so many family members mentioned really helps to place this bride and groom into the correct family lines. The parents of Antoine Bertrand being identified as Louis Bertrand and Marie Josephte Boyer. I will transcribe their marriage the next research day.

Bénoit dit Vaillancourt and Vaillancour families
I discovered that I had two rather interesting coincidental same names. Josette Bénoit dite Vaillancourt married Louis Piché 3 Sep 1839 at Ste Scholastique and Marie Josephte Bénoit dite Vaillancourt married Joseph Louis Matte 5 Feb 1839 at St Jerome. They are both born around 1820.
Parents for Marie Josephte were Joseph Bénoit dit Vaillancourt and Josephte Chauret (Chaurette) who themselves were married 25 Nov 1811 at St Eustache with parents Barthélemy Vaillancour and Marie Louise Labelle/Charles Chauret and Marguerite Roy.
Parents for Josette were Alexis Bénoit dit Vaillancourt and Charlotte Beauchamp who themselves were married 26 Jun 1815 at St Eustache with parents Alexis Vaillancour/Agathe Langlois dite Traversis and Joseph Beauchamp/Marie Euphrosine Villeneuve.
Alexis Vaillancour is the son of Barthélemy Vaillancour and his first wife Marie Madeleine Bouchard.
Working through the marriages of the parents/grandparents etc of Josette Bénoit dite Vaillancourt solved the mystery of the other Marie Josephte Bénoit dite Vaillancourt married to Joseph Louis Matte which had become my new brick wall once the wall collapsed for the parents of Joseph Louis Matte.
Tanguay refers to these families (Bénoit and Vaillancour) as two separate lines. It would appear that the priest added Bénoit to the Vaillancour line in the 1800s with the resultant surname Bénoit dit Vaillancourt. This tree also has the Bénoit line including Bénoit dit Livernois.
Must return now to my own family lines for a bit. I still have a number of items to solve and will try to prove four members a day across the 3x great grandparents for this tree. The generated book for this family is now up to 603 pages as I have inserted some of the documents. Eventually I will insert all the census that I am now using for proof and other interesting documents found online. Probably I will have to produce four files to keep the size of the electronic file under 2000 pages for each or perhaps I will have to go to the great grandparents producing eight files and then one linking file.

Francoise Monpetit married Louis Campeau, and the parents of Francoise Monpetit were Pierre Monpetit and Louise Elizabeth Brisebois who married 7 Jan 1783 at Pointe-Claire. Their parents were listed on their marriage lines.
Parents of Pierre Monpetit were Joseph Monpetit and Marie Anne Hunos and they were married 26 Jan 1756 at Ste Anne de Bellevue. Their marriage lines included the names of their parents.
Parents of Louise Elizabeth Brisebois were Antoine Brisebois and Francoise Baune and they were married 7 Jan 1760 at Pointe-Claire. Their marriage lines included the names of their parents.
Parents of Antoine Brisebois were René Brisebois and Angélique Lanthier and they were married 28 May 1725 at Pointe-Claire
Parents of Francoise Baune were Jean Baptiste Baune and Clemence Proux and they were married 20 Nov 1730 at Pointe-Claire. Their parents were included in the marriage lines.
Parents of Jean Baptiste Baune were Jean Bolne and Louise Magdalene Merlot and they were married 9 Feb 1705 at Lachine. Their parents were listed on the marriage lines.
Parents of Louise Magdalene Merlot were André Merlot and Agnes Jeanne Roy and they were married 21 Nov 1678 at Lachine. Parents of Agnes Jeanne Roy were Jean Roy and Francoise Bouet. They were married in France. André was born in France no parents were listed on the marriage lines.
Parents of Jean Bolne were Jean Bolne and Marie Madeleine Bourgery and they were married in France.

Parents of Marie Anne Brunet were Mathieu Brunet and Marie Blanchard and they were married 10 Nov 1667 at Québec. Their parents were listed on their marriage lines.
Parents of Mathieu Brunet were Jacques Brunet and Jacqueline Recheine and they were married in France.
Parents of Marie Blanchard were Jean Blanchard and Martine Lebas and they were married in France.
The Brisebois and Monpetit families will continue in a new blog. The Cousineau family will also carry on into a new blog. This has proven to be an enormous task and very interesting.
I purchased a book on the Companions of Champlain and have discovered that 20 of the people who came with Champlain are in these trees thus far.

Andover Parish Register 2 - 4
I continued working on the Andover Parish Register 2 today and completed the baptisms for this register. There are now 3028 baptisms in the excel file. There are two new Henxman entries:
Henxman Christian daughter Henxman Joseph 1637 January 18
Henxman Elizabeth daughter Henxman Joseph 1640 May 26
These are the grandchildren of my 10x great grandfather Richard Blake's sister Eleanor who married Joseph Hinxman.
I started into the marriages and there are now 663 marriages in the excel file.
This is going to be an enormous file when it is completed up to 1900 at some point in the distant future!
We went to the Re-enactment of one of the Battles of the War of 1812-1814 at Upper Canada Village today. Yesterday the events were rained out but today the battle took place. It was extremely well done and one of the units was the Royal Artillery. My great grandfather served in the Royal Artillery from 1864 to 1885 so was pleased to see the uniform. I imagine it was somewhat changed from 1812-1814 but probably not a great deal. We are toying with the idea of taking on re-enactments as members of the Royal Artillery (my husband and I). I also have one 3x great grandfather who was in the 23rd Regiment of Foot so that too would be interesting. He served in the Peninsular Wars. It is possible that I have a second 3x great grandfather who served in the Peninsular War as well. I am still trying to discover if he did.
Tomorrow I shall continue with the transcription of the Andover Parish Register 2. I think perhaps I will complete this Register and then go back to the Timberscombe and complete a number of the Bishops Transcripts pages. Then I will return to do the 3rd Parish Register which is one that I especially want to look at for Andover. It will not likely answer particular questions but having all the data will be helpful.
