This will too was misfiled and is for John Blake the Elder of Chesham, Buckinghamshire. This will adds greatly to the knowledge of the earlier will of Job Blake published earlier as a blog:

The present testator John (married to Rebecca perhaps as his second wife since Job calls her his mother in law) names two sons John and Job and a son in law John Payne so perhaps his daughter has died.
This brings us back closer to the time of the will of Alexander Blake 1600 and blogged earlier:

also of Chesham and he mentions his children Samuel, Joshua, Thomas, Mary, and Martha. All of these children were born between 1588 and 1598 and one of the two sons Joshua or Thomas could be the father of the present testator. Samuel was buried 8 Feb 1604. Alexander Blake married Elizabeth Hick 17 May 1587 at Chesham.
There was a marriage of John Blake, testator, to Rebecca Wheeler 28 Oct 1686 at Chesham (Family Search (M02080-2).
There was a baptism of John Blake son of William and Martha Blake baptized 22 Jan 1625 at Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Who is William?
Some new information taking Job back another generation but still the mystery of Alexander and whether he was the ancestor of this John.
I have included the latin probate although there are likely errors as I do not recognize a couple of the words. But it does explain that Job's wife Mary probated both wills with the permission of the court because her husband Job had died before probating his father's will over which he was executor.

Will of Job Blake the elder, Clothier - The National Archives PROB 11/501/398, probated 22 Jun 1708
The will of Job Blake is from Buckinghamshire and I have misfiled this particular will in Hampshire. Looking back at the Buckinghamshire wills and there is a mention of the marriage of Job Blake and Mary Skilton in 1703. The exact details appear to be 10 Sep 1704 from the Family Search Website (M02080-2). This is likely the marriage of Job the son of the testator which would put the year of birth for this Job possibly in the mid 1600s.

Will of William Blake Esquire of Fulmer Buckinghamshire - The Natiional Archives PROB 11/1280/183, probated 24 Oct 1796
The last will from Buckinghamshire for the Blake family and the next county will be Cambridgeshire where there is only one will for the Blake family.
William Blake (testator) names his wife Jane and his daughter Frances Thackthwaite. Frances was baptized 30 Sep 1775 at Fulmer, Buckingham. Frances appears to be their only child and this information from the Family Search website.
From The European Magazine and London Review, Volume 30 on Page 311, Obituary for Mr. William Blake, Fulmer, Bucks, aged 73 years on the 12th of July 1796. He lived to see his first grandchild Jane born and baptized. William would have been born circa 1723. There is a William Blake baptized 18 Jan 1724 at Eton, Buckinghamshire and son of William Blake. Eton is six miles SSW of Fulmer, Buckinghamshire.
Michael Thackthwaite is the father of William Allen Thackthwaite. There is an apprenticeship for a William A Thackthwaite to Matthew Winter Citizen and Weave of London 4 Apr 1786. William Allen Thackthwaite was baptized 1770 at St James Westminster, Middlesex, England son of Michael and Penelope Thackthwaite. Michael Thackthwaite was married to Penelope Insley 10 Feb 1763 at Saint James, Westminster, London and he was buried 18 Jan 1822 at the age of 85 years. He is likely the Michael Thackthwait baptized 19 Dec 1736 (born 2 Dec 1736) at St James Westminster, Middlesex, England son of Dan Thackthwait and Mary Asbridge who were themselves married 4 Aug 1733 at Bromfield, Cumberland, England).

William Blake (testator) names his wife Jane and his daughter Frances Thackthwaite. Frances was baptized 30 Sep 1775 at Fulmer, Buckingham. Frances appears to be their only child and this information from the Family Search website.
From The European Magazine and London Review, Volume 30 on Page 311, Obituary for Mr. William Blake, Fulmer, Bucks, aged 73 years on the 12th of July 1796. He lived to see his first grandchild Jane born and baptized. William would have been born circa 1723. There is a William Blake baptized 18 Jan 1724 at Eton, Buckinghamshire and son of William Blake. Eton is six miles SSW of Fulmer, Buckinghamshire.
Michael Thackthwaite is the father of William Allen Thackthwaite. There is an apprenticeship for a William A Thackthwaite to Matthew Winter Citizen and Weave of London 4 Apr 1786. William Allen Thackthwaite was baptized 1770 at St James Westminster, Middlesex, England son of Michael and Penelope Thackthwaite. Michael Thackthwaite was married to Penelope Insley 10 Feb 1763 at Saint James, Westminster, London and he was buried 18 Jan 1822 at the age of 85 years. He is likely the Michael Thackthwait baptized 19 Dec 1736 (born 2 Dec 1736) at St James Westminster, Middlesex, England son of Dan Thackthwait and Mary Asbridge who were themselves married 4 Aug 1733 at Bromfield, Cumberland, England).

Sarah Blake is the wife of John Blake, Baker at Winslow whose will was blogged 25 Apr 2013. Her will was probated eight years earlier than that of her husband John Blake. I do not known when John died. He had named his wife as his executor but his eldest daughter Susannah as heir at law probated the will. Neither John nor Martha, the other two children were 21 years of age.
There isn't any new information on this Blake family in this particular will. She has not described herself as a widow nor does she mention her husband's name. I suspect he has died prior to the making of this will.

Returning from my break and eager to begin once again although my time has become somewhat curtailed with the garden needing a lot of time at the moment.
Priscilla Blake the testator is located at Chesham Buckinghamshire which is 4.1 ESE of Chenies and 8 miles S of Beaconsfield. No children are mentioned in her noncupative will nor is her husband's name mentioned.
The National Archives has a deed mentioned for a Thomas Birche of Charteridge, Chesham, yeoman 21 May 1627 (DE/B664/29131).
Searching on the LDS website, Ancestry and Find My Past did not supply any details on this Blake family at Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
An earlier blog for the will of Alexander Blake of Chesham Buckinghamshire may be this family at Chesham into which Priscilla has married. An interesting marriage at Chesham in 1687 between Moses Blake and Elizabeth Birch. Again at Chesham in 1703 Moses Blake (clothier) married to Mary Willson. In 1703 also Job Blake married to Mary Skilton. In 1712 Moses Blake married to Mary Weston. Also in 1712 George Blake and Rebeckah Gate. In 1715 Moses Blake junior married to Sarah Goold (20 October). in 1715 Moses Blake married Mary Gray (widow) (4 Jun). Then in 1732 George Blake and Elizabeth Wells. The National Archives has a deed mentioned for a Thomas Birche of Charteridge, Chesham, yeoman 21 May 1627 (DE/B664/29131).
Searching on the LDS website, Ancestry and Find My Past did not supply any details on this Blake family at Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
An earlier blog for the will of Alexander Blake of Chesham Buckinghamshire may be this family at Chesham into which Priscilla has married. Alexander left his will in 1600 mentioning sons Samuel (died 1604), Joshua (baptized 1590), Thomas (baptized 1592). Will of Joseph Blake, Timber Hewer, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire - The National Archives PROB 11/1508/245, probated 14 Feb 1810
Joseph Blake the testator is at Beaconsfield, Northamptonshire. The first will that I blogged from Buckinghamshire was by Eleanor Lavinia Blake and probated in 1830. The parents of Lavinia were Henry Blake and Sarah Hare. They had ten children at Beaconsfield and may have owned/operated the Swan Inn. This will, I suspect, adds to the story of the family of Henry Blake at Beaconsfield detailing all of his siblings (see more below).
The will of James Blake the elder, Shoemaker at Chenies was blogged on the 23rd of April 2012 and at the time I did not have any information on that family either. Chenies is 7 miles NE of Beaconsfield and Winslow is 31 miles NW. Is the Blake family at Chenies related to this Blake family at Beaconsfield. James mentions nephews James Blake the younger at Chenies and Ezekiel Blake at Hemel Hempstead (this is only 12 miles distance with Hemel Hempstead being NNE of Chenies). James' will was probated in 1799. The distance does make one wonder but the forenames do not fit with the families as mentioned below.
The family in this present will consists of Joseph Blake (testator) and his siblings Henry Blake, Samuel Blake, David Blake, Sarah Watts (married to Thomas Watts), and Ann Yeates (married to James Yeates).
There is a Samuel Blake on the 1841 Census at Beaconsfield and he is listed as 60 years of age with no one living with him (hence he was born in Buckinghamshire circa 1781 and below in a family grouping there is a Samuel Blake baptized in 1777 with the rounding up or down of ages in the 1841 census this is within that year span).
The apprentice indentures (1710 - 1811) list a David Blake of Beaconsfield Wheelwright with an apprentice Joseph Blake and the date 19 June 1759. The will does mention that David Blake is a wheelwright. Another entry in the apprentice indentures for David Blake of Beaconsfield as Wheelwright with apprentice Henry Blake 5 Feb 1762.
The 1841 census lists a David Blake (age 65 so born circa 1776 at Buckinghamshire and one of the family groupings below has a David baptized in 1775) living in Beaconsfield with his wife Mary (55 years of age) and son William 35 years of age. Also living with this family James Clifford 9 and Susanna Crouch 50. Susanna being listed as a Female Servant. David is a Publican.
From Find my Past there was a David Blake married to Mary Spring 1728 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire (Society of Genealogists). I could not find this marriage on Ancestry so no further details.
Moving to Family Search I found the following children for David and Mary Blake at Beaconsfield baptized between 1729 and 1743:

Looking at the sons of this David Blake namely Henry, Andrew and Joseph the following groups can be extracted from the Beaconsfield Parish Registers on Family Search. I could not locate these marriages.

This family looks the most promising to match the siblings of Joseph the testator in the will below: Henry Blake, Samuel Blake, David Blake, Sarah Watts (married to Thomas Watts), Ann Yeates (married to James Yeates) with Ann being the only missing child (of note the mother's name was Anne). There was a Joseph Blake apprenticed to David Blake in 1759 so the dates of the baptisms of the children would have followed the completion of an apprenticeship and this also fits quite well (Joseph would have been 23 years of age when he apprenticed as a wheelwright). The Joseph leaving the will below was baptized in 1767 and hence 43 years of age if this is the correct Joseph Blake.

The parents of David are listed as John and Elizabeth Blake. The burial for David is listed as 26 Sep 1784 in Beaconsfield. No further information on John and Elizabeth Blake.
The informant has listed descendants for Andrew, Joseph and Henry sons of David Blake and Mary Spring. She has Elizabeth Wade as the wife of Andrew Blake and their marriage 31 Dec 1759 in Beaconsfield. No marriage date or surname for the wife of Joseph Blake married to Ann. Although the name James has been used in this Beaconsfield family I do not see anything to connect the Blake family at Chenies/Hemel Hempstead with the Blake family at Beaconsfield.

William (baptized 12 Sep 1819) is listed as marrying Louisa (from Free BMD this is Louisa Bragg and they were married September quarter 1850 in Amersham RD) and their children: George born 1852, Sophia b 1853, Laura b 1855, William b 1856, Eliza b 1858, Henry b 1859, David b 1861, and Mary b 1864 all in Beaconsfield. George (b 1852) is shown as marrying Elizabeth (from Free BMD this is George David Blake and Elizabeth Butcher who married Sep quarter 1875 at Wallingford and with children: Albert b 1880, Annie b 1879, Ethel S b 1877, Harry J b 1886 (twin), Jessie b 1886 (twin), Lizzie b 1884, Margaret b 1882 and Nellie C b 1888).
Although the name James has been used in this Beaconsfield family I do not see anything to connect the Blake family at Chenies/Hemel Hempstead with the Blake family at Beaconsfield.

George Jones mentioned in the will is the husband of Elizabeth Blake (John's first cousin and daughter of his father Robert's oldest brother Thomas). She married George Jones by licence 25 Nov 1794 in Wicken, Northamptonshire.
According to this website Sarah had died in 1807 and John in 1815 but he hadn't revised his will so his eldest daughter Susannah took the will to probate as heir at law. John (her younger brother) was not 21 in 1815 nor was Martha her younger sister. Susannah married Charles Neal 24 Apr 1816 at Winslow and they had four children (not named). Martha married Joseph Fletcher and they had 11 children. John does not appear to have married.

John Blake the testator has left a memorable will of six pages naming all of his siblings and some other relatives including nephews. He is a well to do Tanner and does not appear to have a wife or children (none are named).

I have located John Blake the testator in this writeup and he was the fourth child of Thomas Blake and Elizabeth Bennell said to be born in 1718 and died 1761 living at Winslow with the occupation Tanner. This fits with the will as written below.

There is still a home known as Blake House and now Tinkers Corner in Winslow and can be seen on the website mentioned above.
Working backwards Thomas (the father of John testator of the will below) was married to Elizabeth Bennell by licence 2 Dec 1714 in Quainton (she was the daughter of John Bennell and Elizabeth Toms and sister to Edward and George Bennell mentioned in the will below). There is a document showing that he conveyed a tanyard to his son John in 1740 (this being the testator in the will below) on the website: http://www.winslow-history.org.uk/winslow_tanneries.shtm
This Thomas was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth and he had three siblings Elizabeth married to Richard Barton and they had three children: John, Mary and Richard; Anne married to George Stone and John who died as an infant at Winslow. Thomas (son of Thomas) died 1762 at Winslow and left a will dated April 1761 naming his children, grandchildren (noted on website). This will is not available at the National Archives either.
Moving back one more generation looking at Thomas who died 1709 at Winslow and Elizabeth who died 1716 at Winslow. I do have the will of this Thomas and will be transcribing it with the Buckinghamshire wills. He was said to be a local landowner and this probably helps to explain all the property which is mentioned by John in the will below. The website names his brother as George who was married to Maria and they had six children Robert, George, John, Maria, William and Joanna. George and John are traced down one generation.

I have located John Blake the testator in this writeup and he was the fourth child of Thomas Blake and Elizabeth Bennell said to be born in 1718 and died 1761 living at Winslow with the occupation Tanner. This fits with the will as written below.

There is still a home known as Blake House and now Tinkers Corner in Winslow and can be seen on the website mentioned above.
Working backwards Thomas (the father of John testator of the will below) was married to Elizabeth Bennell by licence 2 Dec 1714 in Quainton (she was the daughter of John Bennell and Elizabeth Toms and sister to Edward and George Bennell mentioned in the will below). There is a document showing that he conveyed a tanyard to his son John in 1740 (this being the testator in the will below) on the website: http://www.winslow-history.org.uk/winslow_tanneries.shtm
This Thomas was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth and he had three siblings Elizabeth married to Richard Barton and they had three children: John, Mary and Richard; Anne married to George Stone and John who died as an infant at Winslow. Thomas (son of Thomas) died 1762 at Winslow and left a will dated April 1761 naming his children, grandchildren (noted on website). This will is not available at the National Archives either.
Moving back one more generation looking at Thomas who died 1709 at Winslow and Elizabeth who died 1716 at Winslow. I do have the will of this Thomas and will be transcribing it with the Buckinghamshire wills. He was said to be a local landowner and this probably helps to explain all the property which is mentioned by John in the will below. The website names his brother as George who was married to Maria and they had six children Robert, George, John, Maria, William and Joanna. George and John are traced down one generation.

No ideas on this family. I did find Ezekiel Blake in Hemel Hempstead with his wife and a son Ezekiel being baptized. Is this family from Devon where the name Ezekiel Blake is also found? As more of the Buckinghamshire wills are transcribed I might have further information on this family.

59 Notes of hand in the Stocks of the Bank of England
60 or elsewhere and dispose of it agreeable to this my
61 last Will and Testament and when the aforesaid
62 Legacies shall have been paid I give and bequeath
63 all the Remainder and Residue of my property
64 whatsoever and wheresoever unto my aforesaid
65 Nephew James Blake and my mind and will further
66 is that in case any or either of my said Nephews
67 or Nieces shall happen to die before his her or
68 their Legacy or Legacys become payable without
69 Issue then I direct that the share of such Nephew
70 or Niece Nephews or Nieces so dying be equally
71 divided between the Survivors of them share and share
72 alike and in case any or either of my said Nephews
73 or Nieces shall die before his her or their Legacy or
74 Legacies become payable as aforesaid leaving one or
75 more Child or Children then in that case my Mind
76 and Will is that such Child or Children shall be entitled
77 to their Father or Father's Mother or Mother's share
78 or shares as he she or they would have been
79 intitled to if living at the time of my said Wife's
80 decease And I do hereby nominate constitute and
81 appoint William Davis and my said Nephews James
82 Blake both of Chenies aforesaid Executors of this my
83 last Will and Testament and do direct that they my
84 said Executors and Trustees shall not be answerable
85 for any loss of damage that may happen in the
86 Execution of this Trust hereby in them reposed so that
87 the same be not through their or either of their
88 wilful neglects and that neither of them my said
89 Trustees shall be answerable to the one for the other of
90 them nor for the acts deeds Receipts or wilful neglects
91 of the other of them but each for his own acts,
92 deeds Receipts or wilful neglects only And I do direct
93 that my said Trustees shall reimburse themselves all
94 necessary Charges and Expences that they may be
95 put into in and about the Execution of the said
96 Trusts hereby in them reposed and I hereby revoke
97 make null and void all former and other Will or

1 This is the last Will
2 and Testament of me James Blake the Elder of
3 Chenies in the County of Bucks Shoemaker First I
4 give unto my dear wife Sarah Blake all my household
5 Goods Furniture plate Linnen China Books and all
6 other Goods and Furniture of every description whatsoever
7 that I may die possessed of for her own use and
8 benefit during the term of her natural life except my
9 wearing apparel which I give at my decease unto
10 James Blake the younger my Nephew of Chenies
11 aforesaid Shoemaker and from and after the decease
12 of my said Wife I give unto my Niece Maria Blake
13 of Chenies aforesaid all the before mentioned household
14 Furniture Goods Furniture plate Linnen China Books
15 and all other Goods and Furniture of every description
16 (except my wearing apparel before excepted and also
17 except the desk up Stairs and half my Books which
18 I give and bequeath at the decease of my said Wife
19 unto the said James Blake the younger aforesaid I
20 also give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Sarah
21 Blake aforesaid all the Interest of my Monies whether
22 upon Bonds or in the Stocks of the Bank of England
23 or elsewhere during the term of her natural life to
24 be received by her or her order at any time as they
25 become due after my decease and if my said Wife
26 requires of my hereinafter named Executors any
27 part or parts of my principal Money whether upon
28 Bonds or in the Stocks of the Bank of England or
30 elsewhere from which such Interest shall arise I
31 hereby authorize and commission my said Executors
32 to provide such a sufficiency for her better maintenance
33 as they shall think proper and from and after the
34 decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath the
35 following Legacies to be paid out of the property
36 which then remains within twelve Months next
37 after my said wifes decease to Ezekiel Blake my
