Will of John Blake, Baker, Winslow, Buckinghamshire - The National Archives PROB 11/1564/128, probated 11 Jan 1815

John Blake the testator is the son of Robert Blake (and Martha Seir) mentioned in the will of John Blake blogged yesterday. John Blake is married to Sarah. John's siblings were Elizabeth, Thomas, Martha (died as an infant), Gabriel, George (died as an infant), and Martha. He has three children Susannah, Martha and John.

This information is from the website called Winslow History mentioned yesterday: http://www.winslow-history.org.uk/winslow_blake.shtm#john5

This website is part of the Winslow History Project and will probably be available for some time. What a marvelous website to set up for Winslow, Buckinghamshire. Of interest, the Blake and Burnham family have been written up. They do request you send any information that you have on people. I will add this Blake family to my Legacy one name Blake study as well as I am able to do so.

George Jones mentioned in the will is the husband of Elizabeth Blake (John's first cousin and daughter of  his father Robert's oldest brother Thomas). She married George Jones by licence 25 Nov 1794 in Wicken, Northamptonshire.

According to this website Sarah had died in 1807 and John in 1815 but he hadn't revised his will so his eldest daughter Susannah took the will to probate as heir at law. John (her younger brother) was not 21 in 1815 nor was Martha her younger sister. Susannah married Charles Neal 24 Apr 1816 at Winslow and they had four children (not named). Martha married Joseph Fletcher and they had 11 children. John does not appear to have married.

Checking through on Google, Family Search, Ancestry and Find My Past and I did not find any new information to add to this family.
