Edward usually trimmed the tree out front every three years and this was the third year so had that done yesterday. You can not always see the bare branches from the ground on these huge trees and they took out four fairly large bare branches so do not have to worry about them coming down this winter in a possible ice storm. He always thought ahead Edward did. There is a great deal to looking after a house and today I must work up the garden beds; will take my time and spread it out over the day. It looks like it rained last night which is a good thing. This is a really dry year. I need to pick the raspberries.
In between I shall work on the Blake Newsletter.
