Very busy day yesterday and today will likely be more of the same. The dogs keep me hopping for sure but they are very good company. No work done on the yard although I did have the thought and perhaps today since it is garbage day I will do that - at least one bag out to the street. I have a pail full thus far.
Still very dry here and I have not watered and probably will not water. I will pull weeds though if time presents itself. No work done on the matches but lots of time for that; no rush.
Not sure when the House of Commons and Senate return for the fall but hopefully very soon. There is a lot to do for sure. Must check and see where Manitoba is at with the pipeline extension permissions. I do like the idea of the port on Hudson Bay but one really needs to develop a steamship line for transport at the same time to make it a very profitable venture - we certainly have lots of trade goods to sell around the world and ships are a good method although planes are, of course, faster. But if time is not an important factor than ships carry more in each trip.
Checking out when I am shopping to see what sort of goodies we will now have on our shelves from other provinces. Restrictions have always been so tight between provinces until now so it will be interesting to explore new products going west to east and east to west that come to Ontario store shelves. Certainly our many years of the Auto Pact and Free Trade under NAFTA and then CUSMA have been very nice to have; tariff is going to make that very very difficult.
Our military spending is growing rapidly and will employ many people in Canada; we always were somewhat militaristic in our outlook always ready when needed so it is good to see a return to that attitude. Especially to be on guard and ready when you have the satanic Russians trying to steal Ukrainian land, commit genocide against the Ukrainian peoples and steal in particular the minerals and other wealth in that country. They only out-number the Ukrainians by 3 to 1 and will discover over time that their losses will drastically affect their population as women get tired of having sons and daughters and sending them off to die in a useless war that was caused by Russia invading a sovereign country namely Ukraine. These days the aggressor is seen by the world as the cause of everything which they are - the Satanic Hamas another example of an aggressor as they have caused all the suffering in Gaza as well because of their barbaric attack on Israel 7 Oct 2023. They still hold Israelis hostage nearly two years later under inhumane conditions. Set them free as ordered by the International Court.
Mostly I stay away from the news. At 80 years of age I can do nothing about it but watch as these satanists destroy our world with their utter ignorance.
Still dark as the shorter days move towards us and fall is in our grasp nearly. Warmer this morning at 15 degrees celsius and clear - the stars clearly visible this morning early.
