The strangest thing

Went for some groceries this morning with my brand new driver's license in tow and no corrective lenses. It was the strangest thing and amazing as I can now read the street signs I haven't been able to read all my life. My girls did that when they were little even. As soon as they started noticing big letters I taught them and soon they were reading the streets signs and it made my driving trips in a strange city much easier. I can tell you where all the big noticeable items are in this city and where I am when I can see them. That is a good thing.

So good progress on matches yesterday but I came across one that was very very interesting. As it turned out I wasn't reading it quite correctly but the path it sent me down was the interesting part; the match itself fitted perfectly into a grandparent line. But Chromosome 7 has proven to have an interesting short length where two of my siblings match each other but that match doesn't show up in a meaningful way with the other three when I am looking at crossover points. I am busy working away at resolving that. Unfortunately the new match that brings it up is the only match in the small length for the single grandparent. There are lots of matches for the other three so one could say by elimination but I do like a little more than that. So will look at that again today.

The dogs go home today; I will likely miss them but I have to do a thorough cleaning now as I did wipe their feet but dogs will be dogs and leave their lovely fur here and there so much pick it all  up. I begin that today likely depending on when they go. I could do the basement today. That would spread it out over three days and mean just half of a day of cleaning each day.

Busy day already but it will continue and there is Church at 10:30 online as always. Another beautiful Sunday. Prayers continuing for the children of Gaza and the children of Israel. That their lives may be free of Hamas sooner rather than later. They are the future and they deserve the best that people can provide. Prayers for the people of Ukraine as they bravely defend their country against the Satanic Russians.
