Comment on CRA and getting through on the call centres

I suspect that an online form for CRA where you fill in what you need to know in sufficient detail could then be responded to much quicker than a long phone conversation where you have to repeat the entire process you may have already been through many many times as you try to get a problem solved (been there/done that). That way there is a "paper electronic trail" that could become attached to your CRA account number making it easier to locate and pull up when there is a need for further information or action.  Government jobs must make better use of the electronic ability that exists in all government offices. It is so much faster to type a reply to requests then to spend time on the phone having to repeat the problem so many times to a different person. Although there will be cases where a phone call is absolutely necessary and that system already exists.

I know when I want to purchase something I generally go online and find it and then often enough if it needs a person to install it the company will send you a list of companies willing to do the work and you can get the company to purchase it for you if it is large and bulky and bring it with them and set up a time to get that done all on line. We need to move to online requests/messaging in government services I think.

Yesterday saw me back on matches for a short while and some accomplishment.  Whittling away at the file I am now down to 143 matches to work on. The dogs sat and watched me work and then they were out and running.  But we are in a warm spell again and they are big dogs so tend to keep them inside where it is cool.

Sunday, a welcome day of the week for sure and two Church services online. I will attend as much as I can but the dogs do rather interfere with that somewhat but I am enjoying their company.

Perhaps next week some work on the gardens/lawn.

Teatime soon.
