Yesterday saw another dozen or so matches worked on and filed. Nothing really jumped out as special just here and there filling in spots on the chromosomes not covered by earlier matches although they are few and far between a few do exist. Today is a busy day though and probably not much will get done on the matches.
I need to work on the weeds outside once the weather cools a bit more and accomplish all of that before winter. I will sign up for the laneway clearing of snow once again as we are actually promised a heavy snow winter. We have been having the company clear the snow now for about seven years I think. It got to be just too much snow for us to clear when the heavy falls happen.
We are busy diversifying our trade and developing the energy grid. Perhaps the one item that comes out of all of this is Canada's need to work together (all of us need to work for the good of Canada, strikes do not help anyone particularly - does any one ever recover from a lengthy strike - loss in wages is a painful episode in people's lives I suspect not having lived through anything like that). We can not cling to a past that we cannot protect without everyone pulling together.
All of Canada needs to pull together to bring back our lost industries and create the new ones that will employ everyone. The trade that existed in North America was good over the past fourty years and everyone profited but change happened and we are moving forward to adapt to that change. A home grown car industry could also be the way to the future; we did have homegrown car industries back in the beginning. The more we do internally the better off we will be. We probably all need to buy canola oil instead of imports in order to buy up what would be tariffed.
Rains are coming as the fall approaches and hopefully wildfires will be put out quickly.
Tea ready and working on solitaire puzzles.
