Living DNA matches completed although must check to see if there are any new ones

A perfect sight as I looked out the window this morning Venus so bright and twinkling and just above it a slipper moon. God looks down on us and wonders with so much perfection given to us so freely why can we not follow His two commandments to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love (respect) our neighbour as ourself. That is all that He asks and in return we have a beautiful world which we have damaged with our greediness. We must do better. When we are doing better our world is a more peaceful place (the magic wall of NATO is a big help). The children of Israel, the children of Gaza and the children of Ukraine deserve to sleep in peace and not fear all the time.

Yesterday was a successful day working through the remaining matches that I had already collected. However I do have to check and see if there are any recent ones that I might like to look at. So today that will be my aim to check out the databases to see if there are any new matches to utilize. I also started working on the cross over points utilizing the Living DNA results. Given that my heritage at least for the last six hundred years is English with Huguenot, Scot creeping in before that but again likely primarily English, I correctly anticipated that I would find a lot of matches and that some of them would be doubled up because the chances of two of my relatives marrying is high in England. I covered some chromosomes that were not represented overly or well represented in the other databases simply because most of my relatives are in England or Commonwealth countries. That being said I do have quite a few cousins in the United States beginning with second cousins now my age and many third to sixth cousins who match me and show up as matches in the various databases.  Endogamy present in two of my lines has given me some quite ancient matches with people in the United States who have been there for hundreds of years and married only American. Surprising really but again a huge number of those original settlers in New England were from England itself.

Completed my fall cleaning satisfactorily to me and waiting now on the weather to bring forth the frost to help me to clear away the weeds out there. They simply overwhelmed me this year as it ended up being a very very busy summer.

Moving onto the other databases but first checking Living DNA for new matches. It begins to look like I may just be working on re-phasing the grandparents by the end of the month.

Tea cooling and solitaire puzzles to work on.
