Last week the Remembrance Day Service did not publish on YouTube. However I did read the service myself remembering the war dead and at our Alongside Hope Prayer Session we repeated a prayer together for those lost in the Wars.
Yesterday I completed Chromosome 4 matches and proved all the cross over points. Moved on to Chromosome 3 but it is the chromosome that has some errors so I spent the time redoing that particular chromosome to encompass the results of my two Buller cousins in New Zealand as I did not have a good Pincombe or a good Buller match on this one at all surprisingly. A little more work and I will be ready to start the matches. There are 111 matches in total for this chromosome. Blake is very well represented as is Rawlings. There are a lot of Pincombe matches but they are unknown to me but with the addition of my two cousins (3rd cousins) I now can sort the Buller matches much better for sure. I am curious about this chromosome because I have sort of ignored it through the years because I did not trust my phasing of it on the maternal side.
I walked 13,000 plus steps yesterday and today I will do some exercise (two sessions shortened about 1/2 each as I build myself up again). One losses muscle mass quickly when you are old and going back you must take your time to get back to where you were. So a lot of indoor walking yesterday including stairs done on purpose just to compliment the walking.
After Remembrance Day I usually start to think about Advent and Christmas the first two seasons of the Church Year. There is going to be a set of Advent lessons online for which I signed up. I feel blessed to be able to have all of this right in my own home on my desktop. It gives me a feeling of closeness to my Church and of course God. God is always with us; He is in the wind that blows through the trees and in the sun that warms up the world; He is everywhere watching and waiting for us to do the right thing. Peace in our time was the refrain that our youth went into battle 86 years ago now repeating and believing that what they were doing was worth their doing it. They were right and we had so many years when peace predominated until the greed snuck in again and we are embroiled in dreadful wars (small limited but still dreadful to those who must suffer through them).
God be with the House tomorrow as they vote on the Budget. It is a budget that I think God would approve of because it benefits everyone from the poorest to the wealthiest. There is something there for everyone and we just have to tighten our belts to make this happen and Canada will never be caught again with tariff against us. The projects will provide good jobs all over the country; there is no preference for one area over another but rather where it will do the most good; the monies of the Canadian people.
First breakfast eaten and tea cooling slightly. Time for solitaire puzzles.
