Went and got my flu shot today and the nurse mentioned there wasn't any in the east end when I commented I had already had it. I was wearing a mask as last Sunday I went shopping in a few stores and came down with flu mid week and that was in the east end. There was coughing around me so I think maybe there is some in the east end. My daughter had said that it was sporadic in the west end. Of course one always sees more in the ER because that is where they come when they are sick and need help. Especially those without doctors. I remember that from my time working in the hospital.
So I wore my mask the entire time I was out. COVID shot next. Just a hit and miss thing probably or it was my time to catch the flu. It just hadn't been for a long time; I escaped it for so many years actually.
